Being an unemployed college graduate just plain sucks. Money is tight and you are probably stretching every dollar. Spending money on health insurance is probably the last thing you have on your mind. You might be thinking, "I'm young and healthy I'll be OK without health insurance for a little while." This however is a dangerous gamble and could end up costing you at the very least thousand of dollars. One of my really good friends who didn't have health insurance fell while rock climbing and broke his shoulder. His medical bill ended up being $27,000! Not a fun bill for an unemployed recent college graduate to have. His student loans and medical expenses are crushing him. This is nothing. Medical bill tabs can end up running into the hundreds of thousands of dollars for more serious injuries. Don't disregard the importance of health insurance. There are different affordable plans to choose from. At least look into quotes as health insurance might be more affordable than you think. Can't Get A REAL Job With Your College Degree? What Now?

"Would you like a scone with your mocha today?"  uttered my barista.  I shook my head from side to side as I stopped to study the face in front of me.  She looked so familiar.  Then it hit me!  She was in my Organic Chemistry course in college and had gotten one of the only A's  in class!  "I know you from State. I thought you were a medical school hopeful," I stated.  Her cheeks blushed a crimson hue.  I realized how harsh my comment sounded and noticed she had a look of desperation as if she could die from embarrassment.  "Cool, I'm a part time waitress," I stated. I took my mocha and lifted it to make a toast, "Here's to our Biochemistry degrees." I took a sip as if to celebrate and headed out the door to work.  Where are all the REAL jobs? I thought.

After much brainstorming I decided to be my OWN boss.  I'm now writing blogs and advertising products on the web.  I must report that it's a lot more fun than waiting tables or working in a lab with cancerous chemicals.  Click here to find out how to be your own boss.
